Tanya originally qualified with Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre and has since completed a Restorative teacher training with Anna Ashby at Triyoga. She's also recently trained in pregnancy yoga with Carolyn Cowan.
Tanya teaches hatha and restorative classes based on traditional sequencing combined with elements of somatic awareness and enquiry based movement. She has learned from and is particularly influenced by Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten as well as Scaravelli inspired teachers Sandra Sabatini and Michal Havkin. She aims to encourage people to explore their relationship with their body and the space around them, foster mental stillness, and experience what it means to inhabit the present moment.
